Strategic plan and guidelines

Italy's first regional television network dedicated, 24 hours a day, to local news.

TerraMedia is developing a network of regional all-news channels, digitized and interconnected, powered by zero-CO₂-emission infrastructures. The first phase involves the activation of six channels: Romagna24, Emilia24, Lombardia24, Marche24, Abruzzo24 and Molise24. The start of broadcasting is expected around spring 2027, with Romagna24 leading the way. The network then aims to extend to eight more regions in the 2028–2029 period. Every channel will be available on digital terrestrial television, online, on apps and on social media. At full capacity the project will involve around 50 professionals and will also offer content and services to television publishers. TerraMedia Srl Società Benefit was founded under the coordination of the Spanish accelerator STARTES, with future expansion into Spain and Portugal. Our claim is: “News. People. Territory.”

TERRAMEDIA ITALIA joins LOCALCHECK®

The news outlets, websites and channels of TERRAMEDIA ITALIA, present and future, are joining the LOCALCHECK® Manifesto: a shared commitment to credible, verifiable and transparent local news. What is LOCALCHECK? It is a European manifesto addressed to those who produce and spread information from the territory: newspapers, television stations, radio stations, digital portals and creators. Joining is voluntary and free of charge and requires compliance with shared rules and a verification and monitoring system. For our editorial operations this means taking on precise commitments: • Verify information before publishing it and make sources recognisable. • Distinguish facts from opinions and news from advertising. • Use headlines, images and content without manipulation. • Correct mistakes promptly and transparently. • Respect the people, communities and territories we report on. A method that accompanies the projects already active and will guide those still to come. Credibility starts with method. Trust is built every day.

JOBS

Terramedia Italia is looking for journalists for its TV stations and news portals

We start with ROMAGNA24 (romagna24.it). We are looking for talent, curiosity and, above all, a real passion for journalism. We invite interested candidates to read the full announcement carefully. For our new broadcaster we are looking for professional and freelance journalists to join the ROMAGNA24 team, an editorial project that combines television (digital terrestrial, channel 98 in Emilia-Romagna), web, radio (FM/DAB+) and social media. The search focuses in particular on the areas of Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena and Rimini, including small municipalities and mountain communities. We believe every territory deserves to be told. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Young talents, curious and enterprising people, with initiative and a desire to learn. People who love news reporting, can recognise a story, verify it, dig deeper and tell it. Who want to get out of the newsroom, meet people, ask questions and look for answers. The ability to appear on camera is a fundamental requirement, together with an aptitude for investigative journalism, knowledge of digital languages and the willingness to cover news in the field. We are looking for journalists able to work across multiple platforms: from live television to video reports, from web articles to social content, through to radio news. WHAT DO WE OFFER? A paid journalistic collaboration contract, with a concrete possibility of progressing to a permanent employment relationship. The opportunity to take part from the very beginning in building a new multiplatform editorial project. If you think journalism is still one of the most beautiful jobs in the world, we may have something important to build together. HOW TO APPLY: Send your CV and, if available, a short presentation video or a previously produced journalistic report to job.romagna24@terramedia.it CONTRACTUAL FRAMEWORK AND PAY TRANSPARENCY TERRAMEDIA SRL Società Benefit applies, for employment relationships of a journalistic and newsroom nature within its scope, the FIGEC-CISAL / USPI National Collective Labour Agreement (CNEL code G02F). Professional classification and pay will be determined according to the role, responsibilities and objective criteria set out in the applicable collective agreement, in compliance with current legislation on equal treatment and pay transparency, pursuant to Legislative Decree of 7 May 2026, no. 96.

Filming of the new channel's launch campaign wraps up in Romagna

Filming of the promotional campaign for ROMAGNA24, the new television channel dedicated to local news, has wrapped up in Romagna; the channel will soon be available on digital terrestrial channel 98 in Emilia-Romagna. The six promotional films were produced by Creative Hub by Pandora Films, a Spanish film production company, with a crew that came directly from Barcelona to portray the territory, the people and the traditions of Romagna through images. Filming took place in several locations across Romagna, including Santarcangelo di Romagna, where the crew chose the historic Stamperia Marchi in via Cesare Battisti as the setting for one of the commercials. The six commercials will be presented progressively ahead of the channel's official debut, expected in spring 2027.
